The International Federation of Social Workers is holding a competition to design the 2017 World Social Work Day Poster. The competition is open to anyone including people that use social work services, students, social workers and any one else.

GISW is a non-profit organization committed to bringing quality training in social work to those seeking training or professional development in the field.
What is GISW International Scholarship?
This is a special scholarship set up to develop culturally attuned training material in social work for those who need it most. The Scholarship funds selected awardees for the development of useful courses that will benefit social workers all over the world.
A portion of the Funds is also geared towards payment for training and membership of specific for organisations as well as individuals who is in need of sponsorship.

About the Artist:
Mr Ng, Shuilai, MBE, JP, MSW (University of Pittsburgh) is retired Chief Executive of Hong Kong Christian Service, a major social services NGO in Hong Kong. He was Vice President, IFSW (AP) and a social work faculty at Tunghai University, Taiwan. He was a part time lecturer at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He started to learn painting before retirement. Shuilai has been most generous in donating three of his paintings to GISW.

The lake is at Chung Chi College, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The University started social work training programs since 1956.

A few years ago visit a best friend, a veteran social worker in Taiwan. After gone through a series of treatments she went to stay at eastern Taiwan for recuperate. We enjoyed many good time together.
